Meet Mardie Caldwell

Since 1986, Mardie Caldwell has been dedicated to bringing couples and birth parents together in order to fulfill their dreams. She is a Certified Open Adoption Practitioner, author of Adopting Online.com, is the founder of Lifetime Adoption Facilitation Center and A Lifetime Foundation.

"Many years ago my husband and I searched for a child to adopt. We didn't know where or how to get started. Through research, determination, and prayer, our dream of a family became a reality. I started with a plan, a notebook, assistance from a caring adoption consultant and a lot of hard work because this was my family I was building. We had a few heartaches along the way, but the pain of not having children was worse."

"Within weeks we had three different birth mothers choose us. We were overwhelmed and delighted. Many unsettling events would take place before our adoption would be finalized. Little did I know that God was training and aligning me for the adoption work I now do. She has been quoted and consulted for print articles in numerous
publications including Parenting and Adoptive Families magazines as well as newspapers around the country.

In addition to founding Lifetime Adoption, Mardie has also created
Lifetime Foundation, dedicated to providing education through scholarships for birth mothers who choose adoption for their infants and children. Mardie has been recognized for her extensive work with women with the " Women Helping Women" award through Soroptimist International.
