We
live in Pennsylvania. Do we need facilitators
only or do we need adoption attorneys too? Do
we need attorneys in the state where the baby
is born or where the baby is going to live?
Normally,
you have to work with an attorney in each state.
Facilitators match the birthmother with the adoptive
parents. They do not handle the legal work. Each
facilitator has different services they offer. Always
get everything in writing. Every state has different
laws so know the laws in your state and study them
well. The more time you spend in reading and learning
the more you will save in of time, money and stress.
